Case Consultations

Initial, post-review, pre-testimony and other consultations available as required. Primarily by phone or remote to save time and travel. Discussing the relevant elements and exchanging information to assist with the case.
Case Review Services
A review of the case discovery provided looking for any errors, or omissions, any evidence discrepancies, and ensure compliance with the appropriate regulations. An à la carte style options have been provided to assist in paying for only the services needed. A bullet point report of review notes is included, a summary with expert opinions is also available. A Paper Review is also offered, providing a look at the police reports with preliminary feedback on the pros & cons of the case.

​​​​Base review, the main review covering the reason for contact and officer observations that lead to the arrest for impaired driving, excluding field sobriety tests.

The additional Reviews can be added to the base review depending on the case.

Roadsides review of the field sobriety tests conducted that resulted in the arrest for impaired driving.
​​​
Toxicology review of the sample collection, chemical testing and analysis of the results presented.

​​Collision review of the scene investigation, follow up investigation, and the proximate cause determination
​​
Medical review of hospital, clinic, coroner or other records to determine conditions which factor in the case.

Evaluation review of the DRE’s drug evaluation of the driver and their opinion on any influencing drug.

Baseline review a DRE/SFST evaluation compared to the performance reported in the original investigation.

Investigation Services
​​​
Scene Surveys where practical, of the incident location, witness locations and sobriety testing location. Looking for additional evidence and factors relevant to the case.

Evidence Inspections of involved vehicles and evidence collected by the initial investigators, to confirm information contained in reports and the relevance of the evidence to the case, along with looking for additional evidence.
​
Subject Interviews with involved parties to confirm statements and observations and searching for additional witnesses. Witness research and service of court documents can also be conducted in connection to the case.

Testimony Services
​
Expert testimony based on my review of the case, explaining my analysis, with an expert opinion.
​​
Blind testimony is generic testimony based on areas of expertise, without knowledge of the specific facts.
​​
Advisory witness support to the attorney in the court, observing witness testimony, providing feedback.
