Who better to review a DUI investigation than someone who has been

teaching Law Enforcement how to properly investigate impaired driving cases?

Traffic Case Reviews are prepaid at a flat fee rate, saving money and helping budget costs. Testimony Services are prepaid at a flat fee rate, saving money and helping budget costs.

Investigation Services are offered with an initial retainer and hourly rate for work completed.

Travel Time is charged by the hour, return trip to the service location.

Lodging or Airfare (if required) is pre-approved and prepaid by the client where needed.

Case Review Services

​​

All reviews look for good and bad facts, any errors, or omissions, any discrepancies within the discovery, and compliance with the appropriate regulations. The reports can be used to determine how best to proceed with the case, aid in negotiations with opposing counsel, or used as the basis for testimony in court.

​

A Preliminary review is a quick review of the police reports and simple feedback on the case.

​

The Basic Review is a review of the police reports providing a summary of the case, it is limited due to the lack of discovery being reviewed but is ideal where there is no digital discovery to review. A summary report is provided.        

​

The Standard Review adds digital discovery, body worn cameras, video and photographs, which is where discrepancies tend to appear in the case as you review video footage. A summary report and expert opinion is provided.

​

The Advanced Review includes the discovery reviewed during the standard level review, with the addition of a drug influence evaluation conducted by a DRE. A summary report & expert opinion and toxicology analysis is provided.

Investigation Services

​​​

Scene Surveys where practical, of the incident location, witness locations and sobriety testing location. Looking for additional evidence and factors relevant to the case.

​​​​

Evidence Inspections of involved vehicles and evidence collected by the initial investigators, to confirm information contained in reports and the relevance of the evidence to the case, along with looking for additional evidence.

​​​

Subject Interviews with witnesses, victims, and other involved parties to confirm statements and observations, asking additional questions, not asked previously and also searching for additional witnesses. These subjects can be served court documents in connection to the case also.

​​​

Baseline Performance involves putting the defendant through either the roadside sobriety tests or a drug influence evaluation under controlled sober conditions and then comparing their performance to that reported during the initial investigation. Especially useful when medical conditions are suspected as being responsible for the performance.

Testimony Services

​​

Expert testimony based on a review of the discovery, explaining my analysis to the court or jury with my expert opinion on the investigation, the toxicology and my observations of the subject of the investigation.

​​

Blind testimony is generic testimony based on areas of expertise, without knowledge of the specific facts of the case.

​​​

Advisory witness support to the attorney in the court, observing witness testimony, providing feedback and advise, then providing rebuttal testimony if needed.
